Falcons Score 45-Plus Points in Consecutive Games for 1st Time

The Atlanta Falcons scored 48 points in Sunday's home win over the Carolina Panthers, marking the first time in franchise history the Falcons have scored 45 or more points in back-to-back games, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Atlanta previously defeated the Saints by a score of 45-32 in Week 3, behind three rushing touchdowns from second-year running back Tevin Coleman, in combination with a pair of passing scores by quarterback Matt Ryan and a pick-six by rookie linebacker Deion Jones, a 21-year-old New Orleans native.
While Coleman had a quiet outing in Sunday's 48-33 win over Carolina, both Ryan and the defense came up big once again, with the quarterback notably throwing for a franchise-record 503 yards to go along with a quartet of touchdowns.
