Darron Lee Injury: Updates on Jets LB’s Ankle and Return

New York Jets rookie linebacker Darron Lee will miss the team's Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens because of an ankle injury.

Latest on Lee's Playing Status Thursday, Oct. 20 Rich Cimini of ESPN reported Thursday head coach Todd Bowles confirmed Lee would miss Sunday's game with an ankle sprain originally suffered in Monday night's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He wasn't sure whether the ailment could cost the linebacker further time, though.
"I'm hoping not," Bowles said. "It's still too early to tell. I just know he's out this week."
Lee, 22, was the No. 20 overall pick by the Jets at this year's NFL draft. New York already had David Harris and Erin Henderson at inside linebacker, so Lee's role going into the 2016 season was unknown. 
But he made an immediate impact and saw plenty of snaps early in the season for the Jets.
He's impressed as a a third-down linebacker, hardly a surprise given his excellent athleticis...
