Teams Interested in Joe Thomas Also in on Staley Monday, Oct. 24 According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and, "if the 49ers are willing to take whatever they can get," New England Patriots have been tied to Staley in possible trade talks.
He noted those are "the same teams that have some degree of interest in Thomas."
Talent isn't much of a question with Staley. He has been to the last five Pro Bowls, and Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus said he was one of just six offensive tackles in the entire league who landed a grade of 84.0 or higher as a pass- and run-blocker by the website’s metrics last year.
