Bennie Logan Injury: Updates on Eagles DT’s Groin and Return

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Bennie Logan will miss his second straight game Sunday due to a strained groin.

Logan Out Against Cowboys Friday, Oct. 28 According to the team's official Twitter account, head coach Doug Pederson announced Friday that Logan was officially ruled out for the Eagles' Week 8 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys. 
Working in tandem with Fletcher Cox in the middle of Jim Schwartz's 4-3 defense, Logan has continued to evolve into one of the league's premier defensive tackles. 
Although his basic box-score statistics (seven tackles, one forced fumble, two sacks) aren't eye-popping, his ability to clog up lanes in the run game and get upfield to rush the passer make him an ideal complement alongside Cox. 
As far as Sunday's game with the Cowboys is concerned, losing Logan is a big blow.
