New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is in the midst of his worst NFL season, and with a huge contract attached to him, his days in the Big Apple could be numbered.

Latest on Revis' Contract Situation Tuesday, Nov. 1 According to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini, the Jets may release Revis after the season rather than pay him $15 million in 2017 plus a $2 million roster bonus due in March. At this point, Revis may have to accept a pay cut, entertain the option of playing elsewhere or even consider retirement.
The 31-year-old veteran is a seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro selection in his 10-year career with the Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots.
Revis has 28 career interceptions and has put together a Hall of Fame resume, but that hasn't been evident in 2016.
The former Pitt standout has 29 tackles and no interceptions thus far, and he has been burned more often than ever before.
