Jerry Jones Comments on Cowboys’ QB Situation

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones isn't sure what will happen with his team's quarterback situation.
In an interview Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan, Jones was asked who would be the starter between Tony Romo and Dak Prescott when Romo is healthy.
"The key thing I want to emphasize is we probably are never going to have this totally sorted out," Jones said, via Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News. "We're going to play it by ear, play it as it comes. We can do that. To do it really right for the advantage of the team, which we deserve, [Romo's] got to really be ready to go at the top of his game."
Prescott has been the Cowboys' starting quarterback all season since Romo suffered a back injury in the preseason. The rookie has responded by leading the team to a 7-1 record through the first half of the season, totaling 2,020 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns and just two interceptions.
His 104.2 quarterback rating ranks fourth in the NFL, per ESPN.com.
