The Green Bay Packers have to think of themselves as lucky.
By their own admission, they have played uninspired football through the first half of the year, and they go into Week 10 with a 4-4 record.
After the way the Minnesota Vikings started the season with a 5-0 record, that kind of beginning could have left the Packers buried when it comes to the NFC North race. Instead, the Vikings have lost three games in a row, and the Packers are just one game out of first place.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers called out his team for its "low energy" against the Indianapolis Colts last week, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. Those kind of remarks can either wake a team up or cause a problem in the locker room. Rodgers has enough gravitas with his teammates for his words to have a positive impact.
The Packers go to Tennessee Sunday to play a Titans team that has shown some life this year with second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota at the helm.
