Victor Cruz Comments on Supporters of President-Elect Donald Trump

New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock's home was vandalized with racist graffiti during a robbery Tuesday evening, according to The Record's Andrew Wyrich. Wide receiver Victor Cruz told reporters Thursday he believes the actions were reflective of the United States' political climate.
"I think it's definitely a direct reflection of how this country is being run and how this country is reacting to...the things that are being said by the people at [the] helm of this country and at the helm of our day-to-day lives," he said, per ESPN.com's Jordan Raanan.
Cruz added that he believes the graffiti left at Whitlock's home—which included a swastika, the letters "KKK" and the word "Trump"—gives insight into the beliefs of people who support President-elect Donald Trump.
