Michael Thomas Injury: Updates on Saints WR’s Foot and Return

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas is battling an injury to his foot heading into a critical Week 14 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Latest on Thomas' Practice Status Thursday, Dec. 8 Per the Saints' official website, Thomas missed practice on Thursday due to an ailing foot.
It's unclear how or when Thomas suffered the injury, as he seemed to play throughout the Saints' Week 13 loss against the Detroit Lions. 
Thomas was drafted in the second round by the Saints to take over the role vacated by Marques Colston, who was released in February. He's been terrific through 12 games, leading the team in receptions (69), yards (831) and touchdowns (seven).
