With the Atlanta Falcons fighting for a division title, Mohamed Sanu's ailing groin leading into Week 14 will leave their offense without a key playmaker.

Sanu Out vs. Rams Friday, Dec. 9 According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn announced Friday that Sanu will not be active for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Latest on Sanu's Practice Status Friday, Dec. 9 Per the Falcons' official website, Sanu has not practiced all week while dealing with the groin injury. 
After spending four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, Sanu signed a five-year deal with the Falcons in the offseason to take the place of Roddy White as one of Atlanta's two starting wideouts. 
Sanu has had a solid season with 521 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 49 catches in 12 games.
