Philadelphia Eagles Switching of Andrews Bros Might Prove to Be Genius

When offensive guard Shawn Andrews was selected No. 16 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft after switching with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles fans knew they were getting a force at the guard position.
When the Eagles traded John Welbourn to the Kansas City Chiefs, Andrews was thrust into a starting role at right guard and responded to the challenge with a fantastic preseason.
Unfortunately, that was short lived as he broke his leg in the first contest of the season, which happened to be against division rival New York Giants, and Andrews was forced to watch the entire season sidelined from the injury.
When the 2005 season started, Andrews returned to the starting position where he started all 16 games for the Eagles, who were injury plagued yet again, as they finished with a 6-10 record.
He did play at a high enough level where he garnered his first Pro Bowl appearance as an alternate.
Shawn again returned in 2006 as the Eagles top offensive linem...
