Relax Chargers Fans: Its Only Vicodin

Yeah, Chargers safety Kevin Ellison was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in Redondo Beach, California.
Yes, he posted 10,000 dollars bail.
This is what the media sells as a hot story. They wont even tell you "who" in the opening title. You know the style: "Charger arrested with drug possession."  Wow, you click on it and fear the worst.  You don't even know which Charger it was. Curiosity is peaked.
Who was it ? What did he have?
Kevin Ellison had some Vicodin.  Whippety Dee.  My daughter got some from her trip to the dentist.  She's seven years old and fifty pounds.
Vicodin is a mild painkiller. If a professional athlete has some in his possession, I couldn't care less. Guess what?  Neither do the authorities. Will Ellison spend one day in jail, or even serve probation?  No!
Will the NFL suspend him for any time?  Highly doubtful.  He wasn't using a banned substance or a performance ...
