Don’t Expect To See LenDale White In a Cleveland Browns Uniform

The Seattle Seahawks released running back LenDale White on Friday, in a move that came as a bit of a surprise.
White has spent five years in the league with the Tennessee Titans. White was acquired by the Seahawks in a draft day trade and reunited with his former college coach Pete Carroll.
With the 2,000-yard rushing season by Chris Johnson in Tennessee, White was an expendable player on the Titan's roster. It didn't help his perception around the team and the league was one of entitlement and arrogance.
White had 64 carries for 222 yards last year with two touchdowns. That averages out to 3.5 yards per carry, which isn't bad, but the overall numbers point to White being a role player, not a featured back.
To add a new wrinkle to this story, White may be facing a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to NFL.com. But the report doesn't have any more details on that issue.
