2010 NFL Combine: Can Brandon Banks Break The 40-Yard Dash Record?

Kansas State wide receiver Brandon Banks is coming to the NFL Scouting Combine with a focus to break running back Chris Johnson's 40-yard dash record of 4.24.
 
Banks is an under-the-radar player coming into the combine and his speed is the driving force behind his preparation to impress scouts and coaches.
 
"I've been working with my track coach and doing a lot of speed training and working on my quickness," says Banks.
 
His track coach, Dave Simpson from North Carolina, and Banks have been working together since he was in high school where Banks was named to the 2006 USA TODAY All-USA high school track and field team by posting a 10.22 in the 100-meter dash and a 21.22 in the 200-meter dash.
 
Banks is smaller for a receiver, since his is only 5'7" and 150 pounds, (according to espn.com ) but he plays much bigger than his size shows.
 
For his collegiate career, Banks caught 123 passes for 1,754 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also...
