New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Rings: Beyond the Bling

Most Super Bowl rings have similar features. The team's name and logo usually appear on the face. The date of the game, that year's emblem, and player numbers and positions also appear somewhere on the ring.
The Saints followed suit and did just that...and so much more.
The design of the ring is a collaboration. Several jewelry firms, players, fans, and the front office weighed in on this glorious piece.
It needed to be special. It needed to represent the first ever Super Bowl win. It does just that, but so much more.
Although my repertoire of being up close and personal to a Super Bowl ring is limited to just this one, I have to say I can't imagine any other being as exquisite.
I am sure seeing it on my husband's hand made it all that more special. No, my husband is not a player, nor is he part of their front office, but for a brief moment he felt like it.
