Detroit Lions Forced To Cancel Minicamp Early Because of Team Fight

The headline is no joke. Head coach Jim Schwartz was forced to stop practice early Friday morning because of another fight between the offense and defensive players.
The NFL had just punished the Lions for having their OTA practices being "too intense." Detroit was forced to cancel their final two OTA practices of the offseason, which were supposed to be Monday and Tuesday of this week.
During a press conference Monday, Schwartz said it was a newspaper headline that made the NFL league office decide to review the Lions practice tapes. The headline in question was apparently "Suh and Peterman battle it out in OTA's."

Today was the final day of a three-day minicamp in Allen Park. It was hot, and tempers were rising. There was pushing and shoving going on already, which eventually led to an all out brawl between the two sides of the football.
