2010 NFL Combine: Ravens and Chargers Could Shore Up Without Draft Picks

One of the things that everyone seems to forget about the NFL Combine is that there are other players on the market besides the 2010 NFL Draft class; there are the players who are currently in the NFL to discuss too.

As part of the uncapped season, many players who were going to be unrestricted free agents have now become restricted free agents, limiting the market of unavailable players. That means we could see something which was thought to have gone the way of the dodo: the offseason player-for-player trade.

It’s widely known that the San Diego Chargers are actively shopping former first round choice CB Antonio Cromartie.

Cromartie had a big season his rookie year, but has fallen off since then. Like many cover corners, Cromartie is not known for being physical. However he’s also started getting beat by players that simply shouldn’t be beating him. He’s become distracted, and very much needs a change of scenery.
