Cooling Their Jets: Is a History-Long Curse Finally Broken in New York?

Curses, they come and go in sports.  The funny thing is, for some teams they are either kept or broken, like God himself has predetermined the fate of every team, and has the ability to end a curse at a moments notice.
If you were to ask me who the most cursed sports team is of all time, I'd give you one very simple answer, the Chicago Cubs.
Maybe it's the St. Louis Cardinals fan within, but something tells me that the day the black cat ran onto Wrigley Field marked a day that every Cubs fan would like to forget when it comes to their deemed "cursed" franchise.
However, when it comes to football, perhaps one of the more storied teams that has been struck by a curse or two is the New York Jets.
Since the glory days of "Broadway" Joe Namath in the 1960's, things have slowly but surely spiralled south for the green and white, into what has become for some fans an almost laughable situation.
