Minnesota Vikings Reportedly Offering Favre More Money to Come Back

He has kind of retired, sort of, maybe, but not really. Is that where we're at?
Amidst all the Brett Favre retirement rumors comes this report: The Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that, according to NFL sources, the Minnesota Vikings have sweetened the deal a bit for Favre.
According to the Minneapolis newspaper, the Vikings have offered Favre $20 million, $16 million of which would be guaranteed and $4 million in incentives.
He is scheduled to make $13 million should he return for the 2010 season. Basically, the Vikings are laying $3 million more guaranteed dollars onto the table.
The "alleged" retirement announcement still hasn't come from Mississippi and the Vikings are hoping laying a few more bucks on the table might prevent it from coming at all.
The Vikings, in the midst of an important stadium push in the Twin Cities, need Favre if, for nothing else, to help get their stadium passed. If the $3 million can get him to waver toward coming ...
