Joshua Cribbs Making Cleveland Browns Preseason Something Special

The big buzz to come out of this past weekend's Brown and White scrimmage came from one play.
The most versatile player in the game, Joshua Cribbs, lined up at safety, blitzing the quarterback on a play that everyone in the stadium loved.
Cribbs said after the game he would've sacked the quarterback if it had been a real game situation. You have to love that kind of confidence, and it's great to see the Browns may have found yet another use for Cribbs.
Anytime Cribbs is on the field, it's going to be a good thing, and that about says it all.
Moving on, Jake Delhomme had a good day, going 10-for-15 for 78 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions, and avoiding the sack.
The numbers aren't eye-popping, but for a touch-scrimmage, they aren't bad. Being able to avoid five touch sacks says something about how mobile Delhomme is, and after the debacle of the 2009 season, zero interceptions in a scrimmage situation is uplifting.
