It’s Plaxico Burress’ 32nd birthday today! You can bet he didn’t ask for a handgun and sweatpants.
The enigmatic Burress is in the news for reportedly applying for work release from prison for the second time. He’s expecting to hear by the end of the month if his request will be granted.
So, what should a dynasty league owner do regarding Plaxico? Let’s take a quick look at a player whom many dynasty owners have simply forgotten about.
Plaxico’s antics are well chronicled. They’re highlighted by his accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound and subsequent imprisonment. His on the field career has had its share of highs and lows as well, including a Super Bowl winning catch and constant bouts of inconsistency.
