Brett Favre Returns to Minnesota Vikings for a Chance to Win Super Bowl

According to league sources, quarterback Brett Favre has officially stated that he will return to the Minnesota Vikings for a 20th NFL season. 
The three-time MVP was back on the practice field today, less than 24 hours after the team sent Steve Hutchinson, Jared Allen, and Ryan Longwell to Mississippi in order to bring him back. 
While I believe he would have come back eventually, regardless, it was definitely a good insurance policy. 
Earlier this month, Favre reportedly texted teammates that he was planning to call it quits, primarily due to a rehabilitation process from a left ankle surgery that was progressing slower than expected. 
Of course, the enticing opportunity to win his second title won out in the end. Furthermore, he said he, "owed it to the organization to give it one more try."
