2010 Baltimore Ravens: It’s Now or Never

Entering the offseason, the Baltimore Ravens had two primary needs.

The first was at wide receiver, where the team has improved in spades this year. The second was making sure the defensive stars and team leaders—Derrick Mason, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis—all came back for another year.

Though Reed has not officially committed, the team can pretty much raise that “Mission Accomplished” banner for everyone to see.

In addition to convincing Mason to come back, the team has also traded for Anquan Boldin and signed Donte Stallworth.
Boldin gives the team an inside toughness it has lacked for years.
He will be the true No. 1 that a young quarterback like Joe Flacco needs. He can make all the catches and be a heck of a locker room presence now that his contract is taken care of.

Stallworth is most at home on the outside, where he can just bring it with his speed, and out of the slot in the open field. He is also best when he’s not...
