2010 NFL Mock Draft – First Round with Trades

1. STL - Sam Bradford QB
The right position, but the wrong player. Clausen is the better prospect in my opinion, but Bradford looks set to go No. 1 overall. This pick is complete.
But, despite being the first overall pick the Rams will be unwilling to give Bradford too much money considering his shoulder situation. If the two sides can't agree the Rams will try to trade the pick (or even pass on it).
 
2. DET - Ndamukong Suh, DT
The Lions traded for Corey Williams and Rob Sims, so will they go with an OT or DT? They may well try to trade down, but the teams within reach all have bigger needs.
Jeff Backus was solid at LT in '08 and Sims is a LG, meaning it would be a difficult transition to put Backus at LG and Sims to another O-line position. In the end, the move could cause more disruption than it can solve.
