2010 NFL Position Battles: Trent Edwards Holds Early Lead in Buffalo

One of the hottest stories this time of year is the prepping for heated camp battles , and no other position makes it quite as interesting as quarterback.
There are a handful of rookie passers and seasoned veterans in new places, stirring up a pot of competition.
The first look is into Buffalo's quarterback competition , featuring Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Brohm, and Levi Brown:
 
Trent Edwards
Edwards doesn't have a great arm, and he hasn't proven to be overly clutch, and certainly isn't very durable.
However, he is a very cerebral quarterback with excellent timing and accuracy. The only trouble is he has never had very much time to throw the ball, and his supporting cast has been extremely inconsistent.
He still has the talent to make it as a starter in this league, but truth be told, he's holding the lead in this race by default.
