2011 NFL Draft Grades Are Very Good for Chicago Bears

2011 NFL Draft grades are in for the Chicago Bears. The Bears did not have the best disposition coming into the draft.
They needed an offensive linemen, a position that was at a premium this year. Their late pick was saved as Seattle reached for their linemen in James Carpenter.

That gave the Bears the much more sound Gabe Carimi. I also had them needing some weight and power at defensive end. They got both in the second round in Stephen Paea.
The Bears really only needed to worry about both sides of the line. If they came away with suitable players they would see the 2011 NFL draft as a success. They accomplished their goal. The only blemish is the absence of a wide receiver.
