2011 NFL Draft: Indianapolis Colts Start Thinking Long Term

Anthony Castonzo Will Provide Indianapolis With More Balance 
 Castonzo is probably the most pro-ready offensive tackle in this draft. That won't make him the first one taken however, and the Colts are fortunate that he dropped this far.
He's got the ideal size and quickness (he used to be a tight end) to contribute right away and could be a fill-in at either side, right or left.
The Colts need to start thinking about an offense that isn't solely based on Peyton Manning's right arm and a player like Castonzo can make that happen.
His pass protection skills are solid, but where he can most contribute is in the running game. He's very strong and agile enough to get to the second level to spring runners down field.
And since he was a four-year starter in a program that went through a major change at the head coaching position, he's shown an ability to learn on the fly and transition well.
