2011 NFL Draft Results Have Us Shaking Head With Vikings' Draft Picks

2011 NFL Draft results are in for the Minnesota Vikings, and I still have no idea what they were thinking. It is one thing to reach, but their early picks were a tad ridiculous.
Christian Ponder was the first pick for the Vikings. A quarterback better suited for the second round was taken high in the first.

My main concern is that Ponder doen't even fit the Vikings offense.  He is a quick-draw that gets off passes quickly. He has the leadership you like in a QB, I would rather them gamble on the perfect fit for their team in Andy Dalton.
Even Ryan Mallett would be a better better fit. They then took a tight end in Kyle Rudolph. Rudolph is a solid player that will be in the league for years, but they already have a couple of players at that position.
