2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 1 & 2 for the Buffalo Bills with Explanations

Buffalo Bills fans, your team is in between a rock and a hard place: go with Cam Newton or without Cam Newton! (if he's still there, I think he will be)
Mel "the Hair" Kiper has the Bills picking Von Miller with the third pick. I am going to disagree with him soundly—I don't think Von Miller fits the immediate need for the Bills, my thinking is logical so roll with me. 
Von Miller has had to work his way "up" the draft. That's rarely good news if the film on an NFL hopefully doesn't tell most of the story. And rarely does an outside linebacker exceed the expectations of a top five draft pick. There will be better picks for the Bills which will support their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses. 
The offense was the bright spot for the Bills last season, with the surprise emergence of Fitzpatrick at quarterback. I can't imagine one person who wasn't surprised. It's very tempting to place an abundance of hope on a defensive player, hoping that this one...
