2011 NFL Draft: Suggestion to the Top 32 Prospects

Well, here we are in the midst of Armageddon.  The collective bargaining between the NFL owners and the NFLPA have broken down and the union has decertified and now players are suing the NFL.
The NFLPA has also "suggested" that the top 17 prospects of this upcoming draft should boycott it and not accept the NFL's invitation to Radio City Music Hall.
This is the same NFLPA who have already thrown these players under the bus by originally agreeing to a rookie wage scale (and when all is said and done, the NFL will probably have one).
If the NFLPA really wanted these draft prospects to stick it to the NFL they'd suggest to them to not just skip the draft, but go to the UFL, AFL or CFL for a year.
They won't though, for two reasons. 
One, if a prospect goes to another league it weakens the lawsuits that suggest the NFL draft violates U.S. antitrust laws.
