With McNabb Waiting To Get Traded, The Only Question is Who Takes Over

The Washington Redskins either did not see or completely ignored the red flags surrounding Donovan McNabb last year. As a result, they now are looking for a quarterback in this year's draft.

It really is a matter of who the Redskins are looking for, and it is assumed the Redskins either trade back up into the bottom of the first round, or just wait and see who is available to them in the second round when their turn comes up.

Shanahan told the Washington Post recently the lockout would not change his plans:

“No, that doesn’t bother me,” Shanahan said Tuesday at the NFL owners meetings in New Orleans. “I think everybody’s in the same situation, bringing in a rookie quarterback or even a veteran quarterback. I don’t care what i is, if someone’s not familiar with your system, it’s going to take some time.”
