Who Will the Broncos Select with the Second Pick in the Draft? 
This has been my pick since Mock Draft 1.0. Peterson is the best defensive back on the board. His quickness and great size at 6’1” allows him to shut down receivers. He is also a great special teams returner.
Peterson can contribute right away for the Broncos and together he and Champ Bailey would make a nice secondary. Besides, Champ isn’t getting any younger, and he could help Peterson grow into one of the leagues best.
Denver ranked 25th in the league in passing yards allowed. They need Peterson not just to play corner, but to give them some explosiveness in the return game as well.
