2011 NFL Mock Draft: Arizona Cardinals Nab Von Miller at Pick 5

The Cardinals might be hoping that Blaine Gabbert slides to this spot, but with the Bills pouncing on him early, I don't project that to be the case.  That said, this is hardly a heartbreaker for the Cardinals.  They might have one of the more advantageous spots in the draft.
Essentially, their choice here is between Von Miller and Patrick Peterson.  They can't go wrong with either.  It's a bit of a leap on my end to suggest that Peterson -- for all his talents -- falls past the fifth spot, but I think the Cardinals prefer Miller in this case.  Peterson would certainly add to Arizona's defense, but they need a playmaking edge rusher more than they need a playmaking cornerback.  They already have one in Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
