Corey Liuget Gets His Chance With The Chargers In The First Round

The Chargers need special teams players, but you get those in the later rounds. Instead they’ll address their pass-rushing unit and take Cory Liuget.

The Chargers could stand some upgrade there as their offense has no glaring holes that require a first-round pick and the defensive secondary also was pretty good in 2010. The Chargers are in the enviable position of not "needing" any one player in the first round, so they can take their pick.

Liuget keeps their pass-rushing unit young, and in a division that could feature an emerging Tim Tebow, this is an important part of the defense to keep young and fast.
