2011 NFL Mock Draft: Is Nick Fairley the Right Choice For Carolina? 
With just a couple months left until the NFL Draft, it's time to take a look at some of the first round picks. and, of course, none is more important than the first overall pick by the Carolina Panthers. 
Things definitely didn't go as planned for the Panthers last season, and it's clear they've got needs across the board. So, what do they do with that first pick? Do they look for help offensively, and reach for a quarterback, or snag wideout A.J. Green? 
Do they look for help in their secondary and take sublime corner Patrick Peterson? 
To me, the most logical choice seems to be Auburn defensive lineman Nick Fairley. The Panthers' defensive line was in shambles with the loss of Julius Peppers to free agency last season, recording 31 sacks, placing them in the lower half of the league.
