Is it Peyton Manning’s fault that the Indianapolis Colts have only won one Super Bowl with him as quarterback? Or is there another fatal flaw?
Manning is clearly one of most prolific and precise quarterbacks the NFL has ever witnessed. But his lack of postseason success has to raise questions about whether or not he is the right quarterback for winning Super Bowls.
The Colts’ offense has made it to two Super Bowls, losing one. Every other year, a defense has figured it out, if only for just one week, and shut it down. You know how the Miami Heat are considered by many to be a regular season team that can be shut down with planning in a playoff series? Are the Colts the same?
