2011 NFL Mock Draft Gets Jacksonville A Steal With J.J. Watt Out of Wisconsin
Tom Kinslow's Pick: The Jacksonville Jaguars need a defensive lineman, but they didn’t know they’d get this lucky.
J.J. Watt, the defensive end out of Wisconsin, has slipped and given the Jaguars a total steal at this juncture of the draft. Jacksonville would have been happy with Ryan Kerrigan, but Watt, who was passed on by a couple of teams in this mock, is the perfect fit for Jack Del Rio’s team.

Watt is big, strong, fast and has a motor that won’t quit. That is exactly what a team that only had 38 sacks last year needs. He’ll be a tone-setter on the defensive line and improve the secondary just by getting to the quarterback on a regular basis.

This is the type of player that could make Jacksonville a playoff team in 2011 and save Del Rio’s job as the head man on the sidelines. If the Jaguars get the chance to take Watt, you may say them running to the podium
