Jacksonville Drafts Ryan Kerrigan With The 16th Overall Pick In The 2011 NFL Draft
The Jaguars are as frustrating a team as there is in football. They overachieved for the first 13 games of the 2010 season when they were 8-5. They folded like a cheap tent, like they always do, in the final three games of the season to finish 8-8.
The only player that they have on offense is Maurice Jones-Drew, and he went down at the end of the year. The defense needs a pass rush upgrade. Enter: Ryan Kerrigan.
The Purdue defensive end isn't the most gifted player in the world, but what he lacks in athleticism he makes up for with hard work, dedication and constantly going forward.
Kerrigan will need time to develop, but he can be a great leader for this team's defense in the near future.
