Baylor's Phil Taylor Could Be New Big Man For Gang Green Defense
This draft will be interesting for the New York Jets, especially if we do not see player movement freed up prior to the draft.
New York has tough decisions to make on in-house players such as LaDainian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards, Brad Smith and Antonio Cromartie.
Of those six players I would consider only two of them priorities (Holmes and Cromartie) with Smith as a "if the price is right" guy (very talented and not utilized enough by team and could find more money elsewhere).
They have a need for a pass rusher off the edge whether Taylor is retained or not and this is likely to be their No. 1 priority going into the draft.
Nose tackle is also a glaring problem and that might offer them the most value at this point in the draft.
The last first round caliber edge rusher is Justin Houston and he comes off the board two picks earlier in this scenario.
