St. Louis Rams Draft Illinois Defensive Tackle Corey Liuget In 2011 NFL Mock Draft
Adam Wells' Pick: The St. Louis Rams want a wide receiver to help quarterback Sam Bradford's development. Unfortunately, Julio Jones, their ideal choice, had such a great workout at the scouting combine that he won't make it to the 14th pick. 

The Rams will have to settle on bolstering their defensive line with Corey Liuget, the big defensive tackle from Illinois, who has been rising up draft boards since running a 4.97 40-yard dash. 

The Rams defense finished 17th against the run in 2010, and, according to Scouts Inc's.  evaluation, is a fantastic run-stopper with great open field tackling skills. That, combined with his production at Illinois, 12.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, will make him a nice "settle" pick for the young, upstart Rams team.
