Can you recall a time when Peyton Manning was hit more times in a season than he was in 2010?
Peyton Manning is the grand piece in the Colts’ Super Bowl jigsaw puzzle. Next up may just be the offensive line at this point. Peyton Manning can throw the ball as quick as he wants, but he needs time in the pocket to make that right play that he is known for. If Manning continues to be pressured the way he was, there is no chance the Colts make it back to the Super Bowl.
USC’s Tyron Smith is the most athletic offensive lineman in this class. It’s about time the Colts have one of those, no? Smith will be able to protect Manning and finally give a push for the Colts’ average rushing attack. Smith is also willing to work on his craft, and with Peyton Manning essentially a coach on the field, Smith will be able to adjust to the NFL quicker with the Colts, despite their audibles,...
