Minnesota Vikings Get Help at O-Line with Tyron Smith
The Vikings laundry list of problem areas is extensive. They need help on defense, namely at tackle and free safety.
They could also use some things on offense. Nothing big, just a center here and a quarterback there. Sadly for Vikings fans, their pick is a bit too late to hope that Cam Newton or Blaine Gabbert will come to save the day.
This pick is far too high to take a safety or any other position. Good thing for Minnesota that they also need an offensive lineman to protect what ever player they draft or sign to command the pocket. You can't get much better than Tyron Smith.
Smith is the total package when it comes to offensive tackles. He has great footwork and moves very well laterally. He is also blazing fast for his size. You can bet that translates into fine run blocking.
Smith is a beast, and will get up field with the best of them. He also never quits on plays. He will continue to fight long afte...
