The Rams Two Big Wants Are Off The Board, So The Rams Draft For Defense
The Rams really want a wide receiver with their first pick, but none of the receivers left on the baord is worth the 14th pick. So the Rams will have to come up with a Plan B.
J.J. Watt is proving to be the most attractive prospect at this pick. His combination of size and Skills is a great fit for the Rams.
This is a great pick for the Rams. Even though they want a wide receiver, they can fulfill that need in the second round and get a great player for the defense in the first round. The Rams almost made the playoffs in 2010, Watt can help the Rams get over that hump and make the postseason in 2011.
I previously had Robert Quinn mocked here, but I am beginning to think his year off now may work against him in the draft.
