One could easily blame Arizona's dearth of quality quarterbacking for the team's fall from the top of the NFC West in 2009 to the cellar of the division in 2010.
Then again, one could just as easily point the finger at the defense, which, without Antrel Rolle and Karlos Dansby, gave up the fourth-most yards and the third-most points of any unit in the NFL.
Hence, Von Miller makes perfect sense for the Cards. Few prospects benefitted more from the Combine than the former Aggie, whose performance in Indy boosted him from a likely first-rounder to a surefire top-10 pick.
And rightfully so. Miller's combination of size (6'3", 246 pounds), speed (4.46 in the 40-yard dash) and athleticism (37" vertical leap) has scouts drooling over his potential, with some going so far as to compare him to Green Bay Packers All-Pro Clay Matthews.
