Green Will Play Out Final Year of Contract in 2015 Tuesday, July 14 Despite the amount of high-profile wideouts currently in the news with regard to potential extensions (e.g. Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant), Green is taking a wait-and-see approach entering the 2015 campaign.
According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the 26-year-old star will not attempt to sign a new deal until next offseason.
Even so, the Bengals will make signing Green, who will make $10.1 million this year, a top priority when he ultimately decides he wants to start negotiations, per Rapoport.
