Aaron Hernandez Reaches Civil Suit Settlement: Latest Details and Comments

On Saturday, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez settled with a onetime associate a civil lawsuit for allegedly shooting him in the eye in February 2013.
According to Travis Andersen of the Boston Globe, Alexander Bradley's lawyers wrote that "this matter has been settled" in a court filing, though exact terms of the settlement have not been released.
The alleged shooting occurred in Miami and was the result of an argument the two had after they left a strip club, per the Palm Beach Post.
Neither Hernandez nor his legal team has publicly commented on the settlement to this point.
Hernandez was convicted of the 2013 first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player, and is currently serving a life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole.
