Aaron Rodgers: Can Rodgers Lead The Packers To The Playoffs?

The Green Bay Packers once-promising playoff hopes now hang by a thread, and Aaron Rodgers appears to be the only hope for the team going into this weekend's game against the New England Patriots.

The Green Bay offense looked lost without Rodgers behind center, and whether that is 100 percent on Matt Flynn or not is something the Green Bay coaches and front office need to debate. The fact is Flynn couldn't do anything and the Packers lost to Detroit 7-3.

What that does say is the Packers defense still is very good, but then again the Lions offense is being run by Drew Stanton. Stanton isn't exactly Tom Brady, or even David Garrard.

Speaking of Brady, the Packers face New England this Sunday, and with the way the Patriots are tearing playoff contenders apart, the Packers are going to need Rodgers more than any other week this season.
