Aaron Williams Injury: Updates on Bills Safety’s Neck and Return

Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams was placed on short-term injured reserve in October after suffering a neck injury, with his earliest return date set for Week 14 of the NFL season.

Williams Practicing with Team ThursdayThursday, Dec. 10According to Mike Rodak of ESPN, Williams was cleared to practice and appeared out on the field with his teammates Thursday.
That came as a surprise, as earlier in the week, head coach Rex Ryan put Williams' chances of returning at all this season at about 50 percent and noted that he wouldn't play this week.
“He will continue to condition," Ryan said, per Chris Brown of the team's website. "He won’t be on the practice field running with pads on or anything. We like where he’s at and hopefully at the end of the year we’ll be able to use him and he’ll be able to play for us. We’re not going to put him out there until we know and our trainers are on top of it."
