Adrian Peterson: Minnesota Vikings RB Active For Week 13 Vs. Buffalo Bills

Adrian Peterson, unlike his fellow Minnesota Vikings teammate Percy Harvin, is healthy enough to play in Week 13, and has been announced as active for the Vikings' game against the Buffalo Bills.

Some good news for the Vikings, who will have to make due without their top receiving threat in Harvin who was once again felled by chronic migraine headaches.

Peterson had to leave the Vikings' victory over the Washington Redskins in Week 12 with an ankle injury, and there was some doubt about whether or not he'd be healthy enough to go in the Vikings' game this week. Toby Gerhart was waiting in the wings, ready to assume the lion's share of carries should Peterson not be healthy enough.

Gerhart, in fact, performed admirably in Week 12 in Peterson's place, racking up 76 rushing yards in his first extended run of action for the Vikings.
