Adrian Peterson: Vikings RB Reportedly Arrested in Houston for Resisting Arrest

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson ran afoul of the law on Friday night and is sitting in city jail while waiting to post, or be released, on a $1,000 bond after being arrested for resisting arrest. The original arrest charge is unclear at this point.

Details of Peterson's arrest have been released, according to Carol Christian of Chron.com. Here are some of the details the Houston Police Department have released. 
After being told numerous times that the bar was closing down by an unnamed officer, Peterson reportedly pushed the officer in the shoulder which caused the officer to "stumble" according to Christian. 
"The officer asked Peterson's group to leave and turned away, department spokesman Kese Smith said. “That’s when Peterson told the officer that the group had heard him the first time and pushed the officer in the shoulder, causing him to stumble,” Smith said....
